The Agency for Durable Development of Bihor County has the following purposes:
- Durable, sustainable development
- Facilitating cooperative relationships between the member administrative and territorial units
- Offering necessary support for the drafting and implementation of common-interest, county-wide development projects
- Initiating and developing projects using local, regional, national and European funding
The Agency for Durable Development of Bihor County has the following objectives:
- Supporting the social & economic development of Bihor county and its member localities, respecting the principles of durable, sustainable development
- Identifying possible financing sources in order to promote and capitalize on the development potential of the county and its localities
- Attracting supplemental public and private financing streams in order to stimulate job creation and offer solutions for severe social challenges and combating poverty
- Stimulating innovation and competitiveness within the business sector
- Developing the physical infrastructure that will allow member localities to be more accessible and attractive to potential investors
- Encouraging the durable and efficient usage of natural resources
