GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF ASSOCIATES HAS DECIDED ON INVESTMENTS IN COMMUNITY PROJECTS IN BIHOR COUNTY

Within the GAA meeting of ADD Bihor, the representatives of the 9 member municipalities have decided on the projects they will be implementing this year. The president of Bihor County Council has stated that the institution has obtained necessary financing for building works on 5 didactic swimming pools. In Marghita, Valea lui Mihai and Stei, ADD Bihor will proceed with starting the bidding for contracting construction work on these pools while in Beius and Salonta the technical projects are well underway. According to authorities, Bihor County Council has obtained financing for building 5 didactic swimming pools. The representatives of the 9 member municipalities have voted on the projects they will implement with funds requested from Bihor County council.

„We have taken care of the judicial situation regarding the area and we have solicited financing for building the passenger transfer centers” – Pocsaly Zoltan, mayor of Marghita. During the session, the members of the GAA have solicited funds from Bihor County Council to be granted for the purpose of building these stations, with this being a project that has already been common knowledge to members since September of last year, when it was rejected by a liberal majority. „Beius, Marghita and Sacueni have expressed their desire to build these stations. We have an obligation to solve the problem of public transport in the county as quickly as possible. We will propose a financing of 8.000.000 RON for realizing this objective through ADD BIHOR. Each member municipality will receive about 100.000 EUR from the same sum to modernize their schools” – Pasztor Sandor, president of Bihor County Council. The proposals were voted on unanimously by the present members of the GAA. The stations for which financing is requested will house an information bureau, waiting rooms, bathrooms, terminals, parking spaces and commercial spaces. „The other municipalities, members of ADD Bihor, which desire such projects to be undertaken within their limits need to sort out the judicial situation regarding the spaces where such objectives will be built and then ask Bihor County Council for the necessary financing. Beius, Sacueni and Marghita have already started out on this process” – Ioan Mang, vice-president of Bihor County Council.
