A new economic, educational and business center has been inaugurated in Salonta. The idea of building such a center belongs to mayor Torok Laszlo, who imagined a location where students can organize meetings with business sector representatives and even local authorities. Being a firm promoter of projects which develop communities and the educational sector, Bihor County Council has ensured the necessary financial support for implementing the projects of every member municipality of ADD Bihor.
“The three municipalities and six cities in Bihor county which are members of ADD Bihor benefit from financial support worth 450.000 RON + VAT. Each of them has established their list of priorities in regards to investment objectives related to schools and kindergartens.
In Salonta, the idea of building this economic center was very well received. Here, students and representatives of the business sector and local authorities will be able to meet. The location will also function as a center which will help young people be connected to opportunities on the job market, helping employers and future employees attract local talent and base themselves in Salonta” – Vitalyos Barna, director of ADD Bihor.
The investment related to building the educational and economic center was worth 291.000 RON, including VAT. “It is felt, and we can observe the fact that the educational institutions in Salonta are very good managers of their funds, considerably increasing the quality of the local educational process. Young people who live in Salonta, people with entrepreneurial spirit will be able to bring their ideas to fruition and develop their capacities on a local level” – Pasztor Sandor, president of Bihor County Council.
