The representatives of Nucet city hall have participated, Friday afternoon, at the inauguration of a didactic swimming pool in the city of Derecske, Hungary. The investment rises to 1,3 million EUR and was financed with government funds. According to Hungarian authorities, the sports complex will host up to 2000 students for physical education hours from both the city of Derecske and surrounding localities. The investment was also dedicated for use by adults, after school hours, on the basis of a ticket or a special pass. The complex is equipped with a children’s pool, a semi-olympic pool with 6 swimming rows, locker rooms, waiting areas, bathrooms and qualified personell for practicing the sport of swimming. Outside the complex, the builder has built a parking space as well as recreational areas. The investment totaled 414 million HUF or 1,3 million EUR, money which was given by the Hungarian Government through the National Program for Developing Educational Infrastructure. The inauguration ceremony hosted a delegation from Bihor County which was comprised of members of ADD Bihor and Bihor County Council as well as Nucet city hall. Sacueni and Nucet will host the first didactic swimming pools of this type in Bihor County, which will be financed by Bihor County Council through ADD Bihor. At the end of June, the deadline for the realization of the technical projects necessary for the two investments will expire, with the bidding process for the execution of construction to be started shortly after.
