BIDDING FOR THE BUS STOPS IN MARGHITA AND BEIUS

ADD Bihor will organize the bidding procedure necessary for building the most modern bus stops in the county for citizen public transport sometime next week.

The first two such investments will be implemented in Marghita and Beius. Starting in April of last year, the local public authorities in Beius, Marghita and Sacueni have identified lands where the most modern bus stations and passenger transfer centers in the county will be built. As of last week however, only the city halls in Beius and Marghita have managed to forward the necessary feasibility studies and Local Council Decisions which the bidding procedure will be based on towards ADD Bihor.

The field offered by Beius City Hall is situated on 1st of December 1918 Street, near the exit towards Budureasa. The surface identified by local authorities in Marghita is near the city hall, in a central area. The new bus stop can be linked to utilities.

Next week, the necessary documentation will be loaded onto the SICAP platform, while the winners of the bidding procedure will have two months to elaborate the technical project and five months for executing the construction. In order to implement this investment, member localities of ADD Bihor need to vacate and offer an adequate space of at least 800 square meters, a decision by the Local Council and a solicitation for financing towards ADD Bihor.

“We have the obligation to fix the problem of public transport within the County. This service needs to function in civilized conditions and needs to have priority. The County Council finances the investment through ADD Bihor and has the necessary funds allocated” – Pasztor Sandor, the President of Bihor County Council.

The new bus stops will be comprised of information bureaus, bathrooms, platforms, parking spaces and commercial spaces. The county’s public authority awaits the documentation for identifying the correct spaces as well as the feasibility studies for the projects in Sacueni and Salonta.
